As these milestones are dependent upon the Eclipse SDK, as well as the EMF, EMFT, UML2, OAW and GEF projects, they may be altered in order to conform to the published plans of these probjects. All release deliverables will be available for download as soon as the release has been tested and validated in the target operating configurations listed below.

[edit] Target Operating Environments

Besides the platform dependent code of the Eclipse-SDK included in it, ViPER IDE 1.0.0 will consist of only "pure" Java plugins. As Java 5 language features are supported, a Java 5 runtime environment will be required.

ViPER IDE will be tested and validated on the Linux (GTK) reference platform, and will be available for a subset of those platforms listed for the Eclipse-SDK. All available will be presented on the project download site [1].

[edit] Compatibility and Dependencies

The ViPER IDE Project version 1.0.0 will be developed against all features and plug-ins bundled by ViPER IDE Thirdparty feature.
