The ViPER IDE Bootstrap feature bundles features needed for the development of the ViPER IDE, which itself require the ViPER IDE as their environment (i.e. they depend on features bundled by the ViPER IDE).

Currently, the ViPER IDE Bootstrap feature contains the following sub-features:

  • ViPER MSF - Generation of CheatSheets and Help from Eclipse EPF UMA process models, needed for ViPER MetiS.
  • ViPER JavaCC - Extension of the JavaCC parser generator to support modularized grammars, needed for ViPER UML2 VME. Made available under Lesser GNU Public License (LPGL).
  • ViPER Ant - Custom ant tasks needed for ViPER IDE RelEng, e.g. to support checkstyle within a headless built environment. Made available under Lesser GNU Public License (LPGL).

Unless stated otherwise, all features/plug-ins bundled by it are made available under terms of the Eclipse Public License (EPL) v1.0.
